Is it normal to be almost 24 years old and to have never had a boyfriend/girlfriend?

I'm almost 24 years old and I've never been on a date, let alone had a boyfriend or girlfriend (I'm biual). I get hit on all the time by guys, but most of them are dogs, and don't really interest me. I seem to be more attracted to girls, but most of them don't seem to be interested in me. I don't have a lot of platonic friends either. Is there something seriously wrong with me? I do have a shy/reserved personality when I don't know a person. Could that be an issue? Sometimes I feel that being a black american in a predominantly white community could be part of the problem. Is that possible? Or are some people just meant to be alone? Sometimes it hurts so much to feel this lonely.
