Should I care that he did this?

this guy I like; I wrote happy birthday=] on his fb wall along with other people ad he wrote 'thank you' to evryone except to these two girls that put hearts in the happy birthday he wrote 'thank you:)' with a smile! ugh I even bought him a shirt now I don't wanna give it to him. Like I'm not good enough for him to put a smile in the happy bd! .. help?
