How do I tell my mom about a boy i want to go out with?

I'm 16 and have had boyfriends before but i never really told my parents about the relationships cause even while i was dating them i knew they were stupid and we were young but now i met the guy from new york and he is almost infatuated with me, treats me so nice i want to start seeing him, but in order to do that i have to parents so i can go and meet him due to a lack of a ride to the movie, and also i think they think i've never been kissed before, but every time i try and tell my mom, i back away from the subject... help!!!
