What on earth is up with my b/f?

My boyfriend, Kris and I just moved to Manhattan from England- At first i thought he was just a little homesick, but he seems to be constantly upset, i try to cheer him up- but it's not working! Is he just major homesick, or is there another problem?! And what should i do about it?
